The Problem
The city of Columbus needed renovations to the existing HVAC and electrical systems in their historic Health Department Building.
The Solution
GTC updated the entire facility’s HVAC systems throughout multiple phases while the building was occupied, including installing a new exterior cooling tower plant on the property. This resulted in a system that was energy efficient, safe to maintain, and created a better work environment for employees in the 144-year-old building.
Our Installation Included
Three new boilers and all associate pumps
Two centrifugal chillers and associate pumps
New cooling tower system
Ventilation improvements including new air handling units and systems and updated controls
All new electrical equipment for the new HVAC system
